"Here we see the escalating movement. To Morning from Night, to life from death, considering sleep as death. May be death is just a dream (I wish it was true). Awakening is a kind of resurrection. Rising from death, as we consider dream , sleep as death. It is always vertical movement from down to up. From Chaos to Order, from Dark to Light, from heaviness to weightless. Bottom part is the Night, painted with heavy blue and mars, above it the in the middle part - Awakening, when we are half sleeping - half trying to adopt the reality. There is a face on this level, face with the dark eye holes, face of the man, whois rising, but still there in his dreams. Morning with the appearance of bright an shiny partikles, and strong vertical fontaigne of awakening consciousness."
 Oleg Lipchenko.
As an Illustrator completed graphic illustrations for the limited edition of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" published by Studio Treasure, Toronto (alice.studiotreasure.com).
 Official website: www.studiotreasure.com, email: admin@studiotreasure.com

<media:keywords>surrealism, strange, enigmatic, mystery, art, abstract, awakening ritual, light, spiritual, fantasy art, modern, fantastic art, imaginary, visionary, philosophical, ambient, meditation, oleglipchenko</media:keywords><media:rating scheme="urn:mpaa">g</media:rating>

"King Midas was a very kind man who ruled his kingdom fairly. God Dionysus decided to reward King Midas by granting him one wish. The king thought for a second and said: "I wish for everything I touch to turn to gold." And so it was.
The beautiful flowers in his garden became gold when Midas touched them. The king grew hungry and thin, for each time he tried to eat, he found that his meal had turned to gold. His lovely daughter, at his loving touch, turned hard and fast to gold. His water, his bed, his clothes, his friends, and eventually the whole palace was gold.
Midas saw that soon his whole kingdom would turn to gold unless he did something right away. He asked Dionysus to turn everything back to the way it had been and take back his golden touch. Because the king was ashamed and very sad, Dionysus took pity on him and granted his request. Instantly, King Midas was poorer that he had been, but richer, he felt, in the things that really count."
 Oleg Lipchenko.
As an Illustrator completed graphic illustrations for the limited edition of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" published by Studio Treasure, Toronto (alice.studiotreasure.com).
 Official website: www.studiotreasure.com, email: admin@studiotreasure.com

<media:keywords>surrealism, strange, enigmatic, mystery, art, abstract, midas's touch, light, spiritual, fantasy art, modern, fantastic art, imaginary, visionary, philosophical, ambient, meditation, oleglipchenko</media:keywords><media:rating scheme="urn:mpaa">g</media:rating>

"Imagine the cloud, as a large moving body of small particles in outer space. The cloud is formed of dust in space that comes from the formation or destruction of planets, stars, comets or other interstellar objects. A visible body of a cloud reminds you some kind of organic shape. Especially if you know about microscopic traces of organic life on these particles.
Some friends of mine found the similarity with urban landscape or with foam brought on the sand by sea wave. I’m o.k. with their interpretations. As far picture reminds people somethig - it works.
(About 100 tons of space dust fall on the Earth every day. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_dust)."
 Oleg Lipchenko.
 As an

illustrator Oleg

Lipchenko.

There are several references to fish in the

Bible. I'm particularily interested in an

interpreting a prophecy as a fishing. He

(Jesus) said to them, “Follow me, and I will

turn you into fishers of people.” 4:19. Here

Jesus's followers become Fishers of people -

soul catchers. So, Soul is compared to Fish. I

didn't want to draw anything religiously

related. I'm simply fascinated of the

comparison...

The fish has been an important symbol in

Christianity since the early Church. The fish

symbol is based on the Greek word, ichthus,

which means fish, and is an acronym in Greek

for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour" (www.bf.org/fish.htm)
 As an Illustrator
